Trick or Treat

Well....what would you do with an orange needlepoint? I sure didn't know. Then one sleepelss night it hit me.... a Pumpkin, C'est Chouette style.

Pink October at Make Mine Pink

Each year many of the boutiques at Make Mine Pink get together to give back to a charitable organization of their choice by holding a Pink October event. This year, because October is also "Domestic Violence Awareness Month," we've decided to hold a special "all pink boutique" and contribute 10% of all sales to The Pink Slipper Project. We hope that you'll stop by and see some of the fabulous PINK merchandise that we'll have for your enjoyment.

The Pink October Boutique will open October 7th and run through October 21st.

MMP Friday Shopping Event Friday October 7, 2011 "Comforts of Home"

Closing your eyes to imagine a place where:
Opening the door you are greeted by your sweet furry pet's unconditional love;
Making apple, cinnamon muffins is top priority to start the day;
Flowers placed in the Limogues vase graces the breakfast table;
Orange tablecloth and rust linen napkins set the tone for Fall;
Relaxing around the oak farm table with family and friends; the laughter is so refreshing;
Teacups brimming with hot chocolate and shortbread cookies on Haviland dishes;
Sugar bowl and creamer from Bavaria placed near the silver spoons will greet us when we return.
 

October's bounty beckons us to get out into the brisk autumn air to explore the country lanes;
Finally home with a car full of apples, pumpkins, smiley faces and our antique stash of a pink pedestal dish, antique picture frames and brass candlesticks;


Home is where your soul rests and your spirit restores on
Overstuffed bed pillows, vintage chenille bedspreads and comforting multi-colored quilts;
Magazines; a good book and a bone china English floral dish filled with chocolates on your bed side table;
Everyone now off to dreamland after enjoying all the comforts of home and looking forward to a new day tomorrow.
