We lost Toby, the Tuffet Tabby today. We are happy to have had him in our lives for 6 years and sad to say good-bye.
Oh that is so so sad. I'm very sorry. I know how much pain that causes having lost my little dog a year ago. I hesitated to get a new one but in retrospect I should have gotten my Lizzie(new dog) sooner. I hope you get another cat. Last year our 2nd cat found us. She showed up as a kitten on the patio. Just invited herself and fit into the family like a glove! I'm sure there's another kitty just waiting to become part of your family. Lots of love and Happy New Year!
I'm so sorry Sharon. I just came across this and am very saddened by the news of sweet Toby. What a wonderful addition he made to your family, he is surely missed. Love you and sending big hugs.
I am so sorry to read of your loss. I have had and lost three rescue Beagles or Beagle/Bassett mixes in the last 10 years, and I still miss them, and am grateful for the time they shared my life. May I recommend "Separate Lifetimes" by Irving Townsend, especially the story entitled "The Once Again Prince". (( ))
I love vintage needlepoint, fine silks and fabrics and wonderful fringes, tassels and cords. So it only seems natural that I combine the three and create wonderful one of a kind pillows. I have a distinct pleasure of working with a medium that other woman have made beautiful already, vintage needlepoints, beautifully created by the hands of our fore-mothers and fore-sisters as a time honored tradition. Many have been well loved and used for years; others were literally rescued from dust bins or junk boxes. Many show wear and a few missing stitches, but that only adds to the beauty of vintage. I am lucky enough to have the needlepoints find their way to my workroom, by various means, where it my honor to restore the needlepoints and along with beautiful scrumptious silks and plush designer trims, make them into beautiful pillows.
**Please note~ my email program has been lost~ completely! If you have contacted me in the past (near and distant), I no longer have your email, your contact information, or your email address. Please take a moment to email me again. Please forgive my blunder. Thank you~ Sharon
