I love vintage needlepoint, fine silks and fabrics and wonderful fringes, tassels and cords. So it only seems natural that I combine the three and create wonderful one of a kind pillows. I have a distinct pleasure of working with a medium that other woman have made beautiful already, vintage needlepoints, beautifully created by the hands of our fore-mothers and fore-sisters as a time honored tradition. Many have been well loved and used for years; others were literally rescued from dust bins or junk boxes. Many show wear and a few missing stitches, but that only adds to the beauty of vintage. I am lucky enough to have the needlepoints find their way to my workroom, by various means, where it my honor to restore the needlepoints and along with beautiful scrumptious silks and plush designer trims,make them into beautiful pillows.
