"Quilts and Vines" and some wine, too

Today the Divine and Long Suffering Mr. C'est Chouette and I went to a South Dakota vineyard to attend "Quilts and Vines"~ a charity event presented by Strawbale Winery and Heirloom Creations in conjunction with Project Linus. Quite a sight was in store for us......
{{click on each photo to enlarge and take in all the beauty}}
We were greeted by rows and rows of quilts among the grapes
...over 500 quilts to be exact
...quilts on a red barn~ awesome
... a nice place to sit and and take in all the beauty

...a lovely old fire truck
...an antique yo-yo quilt

.... and of course the grapes

Sorry, we forgot to take pictures of the wine~ it was, afterall, a wine tasting~ and taste we did. This event will be on our schedule for next year, too. Even the D&LS Mr. C'est Chouette loved the quilts.

What a feast for the eyes.... Just beautiful! Think of all the many hands and hearts that contributed to this event! Was the wind as delicious as the quilts?

Doesn't look like Mr. Chouette had to suffer ALL that much! What a gorgeous, gorgeous event, with the quilts, the scenery and then the grapevines.

And then wine tasting too! So glad you had a lovely time, sweetie. Please join me for a diving giveaway sponsored by Heavenly Hostess and Romantic Homes Magazine. xoxo Lidy
